EVOLUTION
INSPIRED
BY LOVE
The word love can have many definitions, evoke a wide range of emotions, and even be confusing. At Priority:Love, by operating from a place of love, the word encompasses its full spectrum of meaning. It is more than just a feeling or an action; it is a vibe and core value. While love isn't always easy or comfortable, it is both safe and fair during our work together.
At Priority:Love, you are empowered to discover and embrace yourself while cultivating meaningful relationships. You are held accountable, gently challenged, and fiercely encouraged at every step of the way. What would your evolution look like if your actions, thoughts, beliefs, and intentions stemmed from a place of love?
Meet Crystal Clark
I am a Black, southern-raised Virgo living in Los Angeles. Professionally, I am passionate about assisting those often excluded from the dominant narrative. I work with individuals and partnerships, primarily: Black women, BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, interracial, intercultural, polyamorous, and consensual non-monogamy (CNM).
Our Services
There is no “one size fits all” in therapy - and that’s just fine. At Priority:Love, the therapeutic space is tailored to each unique client, allowing for thought-provoking conversations that lead to an increased curiosity about yourself and your relationships. Having the willingness to explore yourself and appreciate newfound perspectives will result in individualized solutions that generate a fuller, more satisfactory life.
Q & A
-
I work with individuals 18 years and older. I work with folks in monogamous, ethically non monogamous, queer, and interracial/multicultural relationships.
-
A consultation is a free 15-30 minute virtual meeting that I schedule with every prospective client.
Consultations are important because they provide an opportunity for us to connect and begin feeling out therapeutic fit. I will ask you about yourself and your goals for therapy. Additionally, we will review logistics, and you will have the chance to ask me questions to determine if I am the right therapist for you.
If you are uncertain about therapy, or wondering whether or not it is for you – That’s fair. While I believe everybody can benefit from therapy, at the end of the day it has to be a personal choice as one’s willingness to be in the “room” greatly impacts therapeutic success. I encourage folks to explore and consult with a few therapists to see who feels like a good match as no two therapists are alike.
-
I only offer virtual sessions.
Session are held via SimplePractice or Zoom (both HIPAA compliant platforms)
-
$180 for Individual Therapy
$220 for Relationship/Couples TherapySessions can be scheduled weekly or every other week depending on your needs.
Any sessions canceled with less than 24 hours notice will be charged the full fee, unless it can be rescheduled in the same week.
I reserve your therapy time just for you and last minute cancellations do not allow me enough time to schedule someone else in that slot.
Good Faith Estimate
You have a right to receive a "Good Faith Estimate" explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost. Under the law, healthcare providers need to give patients who don't have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services. You have a right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services.
You can ask your healthcare provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.

I do not accept insurance for several reasons which are aimed at providing the best care for my clients. Insurance companies often dictate the number of sessions, specific issues covered, and treatment approaches allowed, which can limit the effectiveness of therapy. They require a mental health diagnosis for coverage, which may not align with the needs or goals of every client and pathologizes seeking therapeutic support for overall health and well-being. This can place barriers on the consistent work that many clients benefit from.
I understand that the cost of therapy without insurance may not be feasible for everyone. However, I believe the therapy I provide is worth the investment. Working outside of insurance allows me the flexibility to tailor therapy to each individual, and avoid unnecessary labels and diagnoses.
If you have out-of-network benefits, I can provide superbills at your request (see “Do you accept insurance”), but please note that this will require a clinical diagnosis for insurance approval. We will have a transparent conversation about any diagnosis I put on your superbill.
In an effort to balance out the shortcomings of the healthcare system, I offer limited sliding scale slots (see “Do you offer sliding scale”). I also accept therapy vouchers from the Loveland organization.
I am happy to speak about this more at length with you if you desire. Feel free to ask me during a consultation or send me an email to set up a time to chat.
